On July 19,2008 Dim Mak, Urb Magazine, and Indie 103.1 are throwing festival at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The HARD Summer Festival features N.E.R.D., MSTRKRFT, Spank Rock, Kid Sister, A-Trak, and Steve Aoki. $50.

San Diego Street Scene 2008
Anybody down for a road trip?
This year San Diego Street Scene is returning to the its street location after several years in at Qualcomm stadium, September 19 and 20.
This year's lineup includes to many amazing bands to mention, including Beck, The National, and Hot Chip to name a few. You're better off just viewing the full lineup here.
It's great opportunity to see the artists that you missed at Coachella due to a conflict, or if you where too cheap to buy tickets to see them when they played at the Bowl.

Sunset Junction 2008
The review of my experience at Sunset Junction Street Festival 2007 would be titled "Fear in Loathing in LA." You will have to use your imagination, because I can't really remember.

Plus great local bands: Henry Clay People, Gram Rabbit, Happy Hollows and Castledoors.
Despite the heat, crowd, and tacky carnival amtosphere, for only $30 ($15 per day), this festival is absolutely mandatory! Go green, ride the Metro. See you there.
