And those are the major acts, kids. Headliners are Jack Johnson, Portishead and Roger Waters? Really now? We have Radiohead and MBV about to do concerts and you're telling me Goldenvoice can't come up with a better lineup? This is a major disappointment.*

Here's to hoping some last-minute additions are made. There's still 94 days...right guys?

*Please keep in mind that many of these bands are quite good, but really, spending the money to go to Coachella and then toiling in the weather to go see these bands doesn't seem worth it, I'd rather catch them at a club.

I agree. The lineup is very overwhelming compared to past headliners. How do you give Jack Johnson, whose last crowning achievement was the Curious George soundtrack, the first-day headlining gig?

In defense of Coachella, the lineup is still pretty solid, made up of old Coachella favorites as well as bands who've gotten a lot of hype in the past year. Tickets might be expensive, but where else will you be able to see this many great bands in one place in Southern California?

Also, Coachella is more than just the music just as Burning Man is more than just the drug use.
